There are several translations of the Bible available, along reading plans. Several of our authors use the Blue Letter Bible website when researching and we love how easy the app is to use. This Bible app is great for digging deep into a passage. The aforementioned lock screens are free and serve as a lovely reminder of what you’re studying through the app. There is also an in-app Bible available in a few translations, a notes feature, and bookmarks. The plans are anywhere from 5 to 28 days and focus on different books of the Bible or different topics (like hymns or hospitality, for example). Older plans are free new plans are $1.99. They have several reading plans available. This Bible app is wonderful for daily devotionals. ![]() This is one of our office favorites-you can find lock screen wallpaper from SRT on several of our phones. It also has a section of help videos, with articles on study guides, various versions of the Bible, and app helps. Like many other Bible Apps, Olive Tree has multiple translations, commentaries, and study guides. We love the look of Olive Tree-it looks more like a physical book than an app. There are also highlights and bookmark features great for when you need to find that verse you were reading just the other day in 1 Timothy, or was it 2 Timothy? Olive Tree Along with the Bible, YouVersion also offers reading plans, places to take notes, video teachings, and several ways to interact with others as you study God’s Word together. It has 1,797 versions of the Bible in 1,247 languages and counting. ![]() We often use it for quick reference to Bible verses in meetings around the office. YouVersion can be as simple or as complex as you want to go. Sometimes just called “Bible,” this is perhaps the most popular of Bible apps. In no particular order, here are five apps we’re loving for keeping you in God’s Word. Check them out and find your way around so you can keep God’s Word in hand, literally. That makes them the perfect vehicle for staying in God’s Word.Īny time is a great time to start new habits, so we thought we’d list a few of our favorite apps that can encourage you to stay in the Word of God.
